Description	CXCR3 is a receptor that binds to a chemokine of the CXC subfamily, encoded by a specific gene. This chemokine has diverse effects on various immune cells, such as monocytes, natural killer cells, and T-cells. Other names	MOB1, the mouse homolog of interferon gamma induced factor, is also known as CXCL10. It is a small inducible cytokine that is produced in response to interferon gamma activation. The protein has a molecular weight of 10 kDa and is involved in various cellular processes. It acts as a chemokine, attracting immune cells to sites of inflammation and infection. Studies have shown that MOB1 can also inhibit cell proliferation, induce apoptosis, and modulate antiviral responses. The protein is highly conserved across species and plays a crucial role in the immune system.
