Testing Principle：

This ELISA kit employs a double antibody sandwich method, using a pre-coated high affinity conjugate plate with specific anti-human CXCL13 Capture Antibody. To perform the test, a standard substance, the specimen under investigation, and a biotin labeled detection antibody are added sequentially into the well of the HRP-plate. The sample is then left to incubate for 2-hours at room temperature, allowing the CXCL13 in the sample to combine with both the solid phase antibody and the detection antibody. After washing to remove any unbound elements, a horseradish peroxidase labeled streptavidin-HRP (SA-HRP) solution is added, followed by further washing before the addition of TMB color substrate. This mixture is then left to incubate in the dark at room temperature, with the depth of color reaction being dependent on the CXCL13 concentration in the sample. The reaction is halted by adding a termination solution, with the absorbance value being measured at a detection wavelength of 450 nm (with a correction wavelength of 570-630 nm) using a microplate analyzer.

Background：

IL-2 is a glycoprotein that weighs 15 kDa and is encoded by a gene on chromosome 4 in the Q26 - 28 region. This protein is classified as a signaling molecule which is responsible for regulating the function of white blood cells, specifically lymphocytes. The body produces IL-2 in response to microbial infections and this helps in differentiating between foreign and own antigens. When IL-2 interacts with the IL-2 receptor, which is made up of three chains - α chain (CD25), β chain (CD122), and γ chain (CD132), it triggers an immune response.
