| Other names | CXCR7, also known as ACKR3 or atypical chemokine receptor 3, is a receptor belonging to the CXC chemokine receptor family. It is also referred to as C-X-C chemokine receptor type 7, chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 7, or chemokine C X C motif receptor 7. Another name for this receptor is chemokine orphan receptor 1 or CMKOR1. It is encoded by the CXCR7 gene and is a G protein-coupled receptor. CXCR7 is also known as G protein-coupled receptor 159 or GPR159, as it is a homolog of the RDC1 receptor. It plays a role in cell signaling and is involved in various physiological and pathological processes. |
| Source | Rabbit |
| Specificity | The total CXCR7 present in the body can be detected by using the CXCR7 Antibody. This antibody is specifically designed to target and detect the endogenous levels of CXCR7. By using this antibody, researchers can gain valuable insights into the levels of CXCR7 present in different tissues and organs. Overall, the CXCR7 Antibody is a powerful tool that can be used to study the role and function of CXCR7 in the body. |

| Antigen | CXCR7 |
| Application | The dilution range for WB is 1:500 to 1:1000, while the dilution range for IF/ICC is 1:100 to 1:500. As for ELISA using peptides, the recommended dilution is between 1:20000 and 1:40000. It is important to note that the generated content should be based on the original text information but arranged in a different manner. |
| Immunogen | A synthesized peptide. |

| purification | Using SulfoLink™ Coupling Resin, the antiserum underwent purification through peptide affinity chromatography. It was carefully extracted and separated until it reached a highly purified state. This process ensured that the final product was free from any impurities, allowing for highly accurate results in any subsequent experiments. |
| Clonality | Polyclonal Antibody |
| Stability & Storage | One year of storage is recommended at a temperature of -20 °C. It is important to avoid subjecting the item to multiple freezing and thawing cycles. |
| Storage buffer | This product consists of rabbit IgG in a solution of phosphate buffered saline with a pH of 7.4, containing 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. For optimal storage, we recommend storing this at -20 °C. This product is stable for up to 12 months from the date of receipt. |

Background | Atypical chemokine receptor that controls chemokine levels and localization via high-affinity chemokine binding that is uncoupled from classic ligand-driven signal transduction cascades, resulting instead in chemokine sequestration, degradation, or transcytosis. Also known as interceptor (internalizing receptor) or chemokine-scavenging receptor or chemokine decoy receptor. Acts as a receptor for chemokines CXCL11 and CXCL12/SDF1. Chemokine binding does not activate G-protein-mediated signal transduction but instead induces beta-arrestin recruitment, leading to ligand internalization and activation of MAPK signaling pathway. Required for regulation of CXCR4 protein levels in migrating interneurons, thereby adapting their chemokine responsiveness. In glioma cells, transduces signals via MEK/ERK pathway, mediating resistance to apoptosis. Promotes cell growth and survival. Not involved in cell migration, adhesion or proliferation of normal hematopoietic progenitors but activated by CXCL11 in malignant hemapoietic cells, leading to phosphorylation of ERK1/2 (MAPK3/MAPK1) and enhanced cell adhesion and migration. Plays a regulatory role in CXCR4-mediated activation of cell surface integrins by CXCL12. Required for heart valve development. Acts as coreceptor with CXCR4 for a restricted number of HIV isolates. |
| Tissue specificity | Expressed in monocytes, basophils, B-cells, umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) and B-lymphoblastoid cells. Lower expression detected in CD4+ T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells. In the brain, detected in endothelial cells and capillaries, and in mature neurons of the frontal cortex and hippocampus. Expressed in tubular formation in the kidney. Highly expressed in astroglial tumor endothelial, microglial and glioma cells. Expressed at low levels in normal CD34+ progenitor cells, but at very high levels in several myeloid malignant cell lines. Expressed in breast carcinomas but not in normal breast tissue (at protein level). |
| Posttranslational modification | The Ser/Thr residues in the C-terminal cytoplasmic tail may be phosphorylated.Ubiquitinated at the Lys residues in its C-terminal cytoplasmic tail and is essential for correct trafficking from and to the cell membrane. Deubiquitinated by CXCL12-stimulation in a reversible manner. |
