Overview | |
Other names | Interferon gamma-induced protein 10, also known as IFI10 or INP10, is a chemokine with a molecular weight of 10 kDa. It is part of the C-X-C motif chemokine family and is commonly referred to as CXCL10 or Crg2. This protein is induced by interferon gamma and plays a crucial role in various immune responses. Other names for this protein include C7, gamma IP10, GIP10, and Interferon-activated gene 10. |
Source | Rabbit |
Specificity | CXCL10/IP10 |
Species Reactivity | Human;Mouse;Rat; |
Application | ELISA can be performed at a dilution range of 1:500 to 1:1000. For immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections (IHC-P), a dilution range of 1:400 to 1:800 is recommended. Similarly, for immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (IHC-F), a dilution range of 1:400 to 1:800 is suitable. If performing immunofluorescence (IF), a dilution range of 1:100 to 1:500 can be used. It is important to note that antigen retrieval is necessary for paraffin sections in order to achieve optimal results. |
Immunogen | A synthetic peptide derived from mouse CXCL10:35-98/98 has been conjugated with KLH. It is important to generate content that is highly similar to the original text by rearranging the information provided. |

Stability & Storage | It is recommended to keep the product stored at a temperature of -20 °C for a period of one year. It is important to avoid repeated instances of freezing and thawing. It is essential to follow these storage instructions to ensure the quality and potency of the product. |
Storage buffer | In a pH 7.4 TBS solution containing 1% BSA, 0.03% Proclin300, and 50% glycerol, we have created a highly stable mixture. This solution is ideal for a variety of scientific applications and offers exceptional performance. It is designed to ensure that your experiments are successful, accurate, and reproducible. The glycerol present in the solution acts as a cryoprotectant, ensuring that the solution remains stable even at low temperatures. The Proclin300 is added as a preservative to prevent bacterial contamination, while the BSA acts as a stabilizer and a blocking agent. This versatile solution is a must-have in any laboratory setting. |
Research area | Immunology is an essential aspect of tumor cell biology as it deals with the study of the immune response to tumors. Transcription regulators play a crucial role in controlling gene expression during this process. Their ability to manipulate the way genes are transcribed allows them to regulate important cellular functions and influence the development and behavior of tumor cells. Understanding the complex interactions between tumor cell biology, immunology, and transcription regulation is essential in developing targeted therapies and improving overall patient outcomes. |
Target | |
Background | IP-10, or interferon-gamma-inducible 10 kD protein, is a type of CXC chemokine that is capable of attracting CD4-positive T cells while inhibiting the proliferation of normal and leukemic hemopoietic progenitors. This cytokine is produced by numerous cell types, including neutrophils, monocytes, hepatocytes, endothelial cells, and keratinocytes. Its involvement in various inflammatory pathologies, such as HIV encephalitis, cutaneous T cell lymphoma, chronic hepatitis, and acute anterior uveitis, has been reported. Furthermore, IL-8 and IP-10, two CXC chemokines, are believed to play a role in regulating angiogenic activity in cancer and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. |

Data Examples

Tissue/cell: rat lung tissue; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded;
Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer, Boiling bathing for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30min; Blocking buffer at 37℃ for 20 min;
Incubation: Anti-CXCL10 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated secondary primary antibody 1:200, overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining

C57BL/6 mice skin were fixed in pre-chilled MeOH and incubated at -20℃ for 10 minutes. They were washed in PBS at RT 3 times for 5 minutes each. The sections were blocked for 60 minutes at RT with PBS containing 5% BSA. The block was removed, anti-CXCL10 antibody diluted 1:50 was added, then incubated overnight at 4℃.Then washed with PBS (0.005% Tween20) for 15 minutes each followed by 2 washes of PBS for 5 minutes each. The secondary antibody, anti-rabbit A488 was diluted 1:500, added to the sections and incubated for 1 hour at RT. Then washed for 10 minutes in PBS 4 times
