Other names	The protein NrH, also known as Bcl-2-like protein 10, is an anti-apoptotic protein that regulates apoptosis. It is also referred to as apoptosis regulator Bcl-B or BCL2 like 10 protein. Other names include Apoptosis regulator Bcl-B, Bcl2-L-10, BCL B, Boo, Diva, MGC129810, MGC129811, and Nrh. This protein plays a crucial role in preventing cell death by inhibiting apoptotic processes. Its function is similar to Bcl-2, another well-known anti-apoptotic protein. Bcl-2-like protein 10 is involved in maintaining the balance between cell survival and cell death. It acts by protecting cells from apoptosis-inducing factors and promoting cell survival. Through its anti-apoptotic properties, Bcl-2-like protein 10 contributes to the regulation of normal cellular processes and the prevention of pathological conditions associated with excessive cell death.
