Overview | |
Description | CD20 is a molecule found specifically on the surface of B lymphocytes, making it a useful marker for identifying these cells. It is present on over 95% of normal and cancerous B lymphocytes, but not on hematopoietic stem cells, progenitor cells, or other normal tissues. CD20 is a phosphoprotein consisting of 297 amino acids and has a molecular weight of 33kD (non-glycosylated phosphoprotein) or 34-36kD. Its epitope is located in the loop region composed of 43 amino acids within the third and fourth transmembrane intervals. When bound to an antibody, CD20 does not undergo significant internalization or shedding from the cell surface. This characteristic makes it an excellent target for the treatment of B lymphocyte-related diseases. Importantly, normal B cells are not affected by anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies, allowing them to regenerate the B cell population even after the targeted elimination of lymphoma cells and CD20-expressing normal B cells. Thus, cloned anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies are increasingly utilized in the treatment of B cell-related diseases. Endotoxin (Endotoxin) <2EU/mg |

Stability & Storage | To maintain its quality, it is advised to store the liquid in a temperature range of 2-8℃ for a duration of 2 years. However, once the liquid is dissolved and packaged, it is recommended to store it at a lower temperature of -20℃ for 6 months. If a longer storage period is required, a temperature as low as -80℃ can be utilized for a duration of 12 months. This precaution is necessary to prevent repeated freezing and thawing, which can adversely affect the liquid's stability. |
