Description

The recombinant human PD1 protein containing amino acids 1-160 was successfully synthesized in mammalian cells. To aid in detection and purification, a DYK tag was added to the C-terminal end of the protein. The theoretical molecular weight of this PD1 protein variant is expected to be 16.6 kDa. Upon purification and analysis using SDS-PAGE gel under reduced conditions, the purified PD1 protein was observed to migrate near the position of 34 kDa. This significant difference in apparent molecular weight could be attributed to various factors, such as post-translational modifications or protein folding, which can affect the migration pattern on SDS-PAGE.

The purification of PD1 protein is achieved through the utilization of chromatographic techniques that are exclusive to our company.
