Description | Our Mammalian expression system is utilized to produce Recombinant Cynomolgus T Cell Immunoglobulin and Mucin Domain-3. The target gene encoding Ser22-Arg201 is expressed with an Fc tag at the C-terminus. To generate a highly similar content based on the original text information, the following rearranged content is provided. |
Other names | The molecule known as TIM-3, or T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3, is also referred to as HAVCR2. It plays a significant role in immune responses and is involved in regulating T cell function. TIM-3 has emerged as an important target for immunotherapy due to its potential as a biomarker for various diseases. Researchers are investigating the therapeutic potential of targeting TIM-3 to enhance anti-tumor immune responses and prevent immune evasion. |
Source | Mammalian cells |
Format | The substance was dried through lyophilization after being filtered through a 0.2 μm filter and suspended in a pH7.4 phosphate-buffered saline solution. Can you please produce similar content without copying this original text too closely? |

Concentration | The purity of the sample was established to be over 95% through the process of SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis. It was determined that the sample was highly homogeneous, with negligible impurities. To reiterate, the purity level of the sample was greater than 95%. |
Endotoxin_level | The LAL test results showed that the levels of endotoxins are less than 0.1 ng/μg (equivalent to 1 International Endotoxin Unit per microgram). This information has been rearranged in a similar manner to convey the same message. |
Reconstitution | To ensure proper handling of the samples, it is important to follow these guidelines. Before opening the tubes, always centrifuge them. Avoid mixing by vortex or pipetting as it may result in inaccurate results. It is strongly advised not to reconstitute the lyophilized protein to a concentration lower than 100 μg/ml. To dissolve the lyophilized protein, use ddH2O. After reconstitution, it is recommended to divide the solution into smaller aliquots to minimize the number of freeze-thaw cycles. These steps will help maintain the quality and integrity of the samples. |

Background | T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3 is a member of the TIM family of immune regulating molecules. Mature cynomolgus TIM3 consists of a 182 amino acid (aa) extracellular domain (ECD), a 21 aa transmembrane segment, and a 78 aa cytoplasmic tail. TIM3 is up-regulated on several populations of activated myeloid cells (macrophage, monocyte, dendritic cell, microglia, mast cell) and T cells (Th1, CD8+, NK, Treg). Its binding to Galectin9 induces a range of immunosuppressive functions which enhance immune tolerance and inhibit anti-tumor immunity. TIM3 ligation attenuates CD8+ and Th1 cell responses and promotes the activity of Treg and myeloid derived suppressor cells. TIM3 interactions with Galectin-9 can trigger immune stimulatory effects, such as the coactivation of NK cell cytotoxicity. |
