Overview | |
Description | Our Mammalian expression system is responsible for creating Recombinant Human CD19, which features a Fc tag at the C-terminus and is comprised of the Pro20-Lys291 encoding target gene. The resulting product is highly similar to the original text information. |
Other names | CD19, also known as B-Lymphocyte Antigen CD19, is a crucial cell surface protein found on B-lymphocytes. It plays a vital role in the activation, development, and signaling of B-cells within the immune system. Another name for CD19 is B-Lymphocyte Surface Antigen B4, highlighting its significance in B-cell biology. |

Format | A freeze-dried product was obtained from a solution of 20mM PB, 150mM NaCl, 1% BSA, and 0.05% NaN3. The solution was filtered through a 0.2 μm membrane and adjusted to pH 7.4. The resulting lyophilized product can be used for various applications due to its stable composition and high purity. |

Concentration | To determine a sample's purity, SDS-PAGE is used, and the result shows that it is greater than 80%. Let me rephrase this information for you in a highly similar manner: The purity of the sample was determined by employing SDS-PAGE, which revealed that it exceeds 80%. |
Endotoxin_level | The LAL test determined the presence of less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg) in the given sample. |
Reconstitution | When working with lyophilized protein, it is important to take proper precautions to ensure optimal results. Before opening the tubes, centrifuge them to ensure that the contents are well mixed. Avoid using vortex or pipetting to mix the protein as this may result in enzymatic degradation or protein denaturation. When reconstituting the protein, it is recommended to dissolve it in distilled water and to avoid diluting it to less than 100 μg/ml. Additionally, it is important to aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize the freeze-thaw cycle. Taking these precautions will help to ensure that you obtain accurate and reliable results when working with lyophilized protein samples. |
Stability & Storage | It is recommended to store lyophilized protein at a temperature lower than -20°C. However, it is also known to be stable at room temperature for a duration of three weeks. If the protein is reconstituted, it can be safely stored at a temperature between 4-7°C for a period of 2-7 days. For long-term storage, it is advisable to divide the reconstituted protein into aliquots and store them at a temperature lower than -20°C for up to three months. |

Background | CD19 is a single-pass type I membrane protein containing 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. CD19 is expressed on follicular dendritic cells and B cells. In fact, it is present on B cells from earliest recognizable B-lineage cells during development to B-cell blasts but is lost on maturation to plasma cells. CD19 primarily acts as a B cell co-receptor in conjunction with CD21 and CD81. Upon activation, the cytoplasmic tail of CD19 becomes phosphorylated, which leads to binding by Src-family kinases and recruitment of PI-3 kinase. CD19 Assembles with the antigen receptor of B lymphocytes in order to decrease the threshold for antigen receptor-dependent stimulation. Defects in CD19 are the cause of immunodeficiency common variable type 3 (CVID3) which is a primary immunodeficiency characterized by antibody deficiency, hypogammaglobulinemia, recurrent bacterial infections and an inability to mount an antibody response to antigen. |
