| Theory | Caspase 4 has the ability to catalyze the substrate Ac-LEVD-pNA, resulting in the production of p-nitroaniline (pNA), which is an easily detectable yellow pigment. The maximum absorbance of pNA occurs at 405 nm, thereby enabling us to measure the activity of caspase 4 by detecting absorbance values. This technique has proven to be highly effective in detecting caspase 4 activity in mammalian tissues and cells. By measuring pNA levels using the visible light photometric method, we can accurately determine the activity of caspase 4. |
| Composition | The composition of the product includes 20T100T Lysis buffer for a volume of 8ml and 30ml, respectively, as well as Assay buffer for a volume of 8ml and 20ml, respectively.
