Description

HSPA5 is a molecular chaperone known as GRP94 that plays a crucial role in processing and transporting secreted proteins. Its association with CNPY3 is essential for the proper folding of Toll-like receptors. Additionally, it is involved in endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD) and exhibits ATPase activity. HSPA5 forms a homodimer structure that is linked by disulfide bonds. Moreover, it is a component of an EIF2 complex, which includes CELF1/CUGBP1, CALR, CALR3, EIF2S1, EIF2S2, HSP90B1, and HSPA5 itself. This complex is involved in various cellular functions.

The 94 kDa glucose-regulated protein, also known as ECGP or Endoplasmin, is a glycoprotein found on endothelial cells, specifically HBMEC. It is encoded by the ENPL_HUMAN gene and is referred to as glucose-regulated protein 94 kDa or gp96. This protein is a homolog of gp96 and plays a role in cellular stress response. Additionally, it is a member of the heat shock protein 90 kDa beta family, specifically HSP90B1. Another name associated with this protein is stress-inducible tumor rejection antigen GP96 or TRA1. It has been identified as a tumor rejection antigen and is also termed tumor rejection antigen-1.

In the case of ELISA using peptide antigens, the dilution ratio is 1:20000 to 1:40000.
