Overview

Description

Our Mammalian expression system has successfully generated Recombinant Mouse Platelet receptor Gi24. The target gene encoding Phe33-Ala191 has been expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus, resulting in a highly purified protein. This protein is structurally similar to the original protein and is expected to function similarly in various biological assays. We are proud of our efficient expression system and the quality of our product.

Other names

The protein known as GI24 or Platelet Receptor Gi24, is also referred to by several other names, such as Stress-Induced Secreted Protein 1 (SISP1), Dies1, and B7-H5. Another name associated with this protein is VISTA or PD-1H. Despite the multiple names, the function of this protein is relatively unknown and still being explored. However, recent research has suggested that GI24 may play an important role in immune regulation and cancer development.

Concentration

The level of purity was found to be over 95% by conducting SDS-PAGE analysis. To create similar content, the following text could be generated: Upon conducting an analysis using SDS-PAGE, it was determined that the purity level was greater than 95%.

Endotoxin_level

The LAL test determined that the content is below 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg) in concentration. Let's generate a rearranged version of the original information while ensuring its similarity.

Reconstitution

Before opening, it is important to always centrifuge the tubes. Avoid mixing by vortex or pipetting. It is strongly advised not to reconstitute the protein at a concentration lower than 100 μg/ml. Ensure complete dissolution of the lyophilized protein by using ddH2O. To prevent damage from freeze-thaw cycles, it is recommended to aliquot the reconstituted solution. Please rearrange the provided information to create a distinct content, as opposed to generating text using ChapGPT.

Target

Background

Mouse Platelet receptor Gi24 (VISTA) is a transmembrane glycoprotein with homology to B7like immune costimulatory molecules. Mature mouse Gi24 contains a 159 amino acid (aa) extracellular domain (ECD) with one V-type Ig-like domain, a 21 aa transmembrane segment, and a 97 aa cytoplasmic domain. VISTA promotes both MT1-MMP expression and the MT1-MMP mediated activation of MMP-2. It supports the differentiation of embryonic stem cells (ESC) and enhances BMP-4 induced signaling in ESC, but it is also down-regulated following BMP-4 exposure. It binds to BMP-4 directly and also associates with the type I BMP receptor Activin RIB/ALK-4. It is expressed on the surface of naïve CD4+ T cells and regulatory T cells. It is up-regulated in vivo on activated monocytes and dendritic cells. VISTA inhibits CD4+ and CD8+ T cell proliferation and their production of IL-2 and IFN-γ. Its expression on tumor cells attenuates the antitumor immune response and enables more rapid tumor progression.
