Overview | |
Description | Our Mammalian expression system has successfully produced Recombinant Cynomolgus monkey T-lymphocyte Activation Antigen CD80. The target gene encoding Val35-Asn242 has been expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus, ensuring efficient purification during downstream processing. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that the final product is highly similar to the original native protein in terms of structure and function. This technology has promising applications in research and development of novel therapies for various immune disorders. |
Other names | CD80, also known as B7-1 antigen or Activation B7, is an important T-lymphocyte activation antigen. This antigen plays a crucial role in immune responses and T-cell activation. Its presence on antigen-presenting cells stimulates T-cell activation and enhances the immune response. CD80, also referred to as B7, is a key player in co-stimulatory signals necessary for the activation of T-lymphocytes. By rearranging the provided information, we can emphasize the significance of CD80 in immune responses and its role in T-cell activation. |
Source | Escherichia coli. |
Format | The solution was filtered through a 0.2 μm filter and then lyophilized using PBS at pH 7.4. To create a similar content, the original text information was rearranged to reflect this process. |

Concentration | By analyzing SDS-PAGE results, it has been determined that the protein sample has a purity level exceeding 95%. Can you please provide me with a similar response that is based on the initial content but rephrased in a completely different manner? |
Endotoxin_level | The LAL test has determined that the concentration is less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg). This information showcases the low levels detected in the sample. |
Reconstitution | To ensure proper handling of our lyophilized protein, it is crucial to always centrifuge the tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting, as this can result in protein denaturation. We advise against reconstituting the protein to a concentration lower than 100 μg/ml. To dissolve the lyophilized powder, use ddH2O. To minimize the risk of multiple freeze-thaw cycles, it is recommended to aliquot the reconstituted solution. Please keep in mind that ensuring proper handling of our product is essential for obtaining accurate and reliable results. |

Background | Cynomolgus Cluster of Differentiation 80, also called B7-1, is a member of cell surface immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells including activated B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells. CD80 plays key, yet distinct roles in the activation of T cells. B7-1/CD80 and B7-2/CD86, together with their receptors CD28 and CTLA4, constitute one of the dominant co-stimulatory pathways that regulate T- and B- cell responses. CD80 is mostly expressed on the surface of antigen-presenting cells including activated B cells, macrophages and dendritic cells. Although both CTLA-4 and CD28 can bind to the same ligands, CTLA-4 binds to B7-1 and B7-2 with a 20-100 fold higher affinity than CD28 and is involved in the down-regulation of the immune response. CD80 is thus regarded as promising therapeutic targets for autoimmune diseases and various carcinomas. |
