Activity

The standard and the fully biologically active versions were compared, and it was found that the latter showed comparable effectiveness. Specifically, the ED of the fully biologically active version was not significantly different from that of the standard.₅₀The specific activity of the substance in question, as measured by a cell proliferation assay utilizing HUVEC, is greater than 2.0 × 10 and the concentration needed to achieve this activity is less than 5 ng/ml.⁵ IU/mg.

Reconstitution

To ensure the proper preparation of the vial, we suggest briefly centrifuging it before opening to settle the contents at the bottom. Reconstitute the vial by adding sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA, achieving a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. It is recommended to divide the reconstituted solution into separate aliquots, which can be stored at -20 °C or lower. When conducting further dilutions, please utilize suitable buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage

To maintain the stability of this lyophilized preparation, it should be stored at 2-8 °C. However, for long term storage, it is best to keep it at -20 °C and preferably in a desiccated state. Once reconstituted, it can be stored for up to one week at 2-8 °C. For optimal longevity, divide the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store them at -20 °C to -70 °C. It is important to avoid subjecting the preparation to repeated freeze/thaw cycles, as this can affect its stability.
