Activity

The standard and the fully biologically active samples have been compared, and they have been found to be nearly identical. The ED concentration of both samples is the same, indicating that the fully active sample contains all the necessary compounds and is just as effective as the standard.₅₀The specific activity of a certain substance was measured using murine balb/c 3T3 cells in a cell proliferation assay. It was found that the concentration of the substance required to inhibit cell growth by half was less than 0.2 ng/ml. Reconstitution

For best results, it is recommended to briefly centrifuge this vial before opening it so that the contents settle to the bottom. To reconstitute, use sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA and dilute to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. It is advisable to divide the stock solutions into smaller working aliquots and store them at a temperature of ≤ -20 °C. Any further dilutions should be made using the appropriate buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage

To ensure the stability of this lyophilized preparation, it should be stored at 2-8 °C but for long term storage, it is recommended to keep it at -20 °C in a desiccated state.
