Other names	Ras homolog gene family member A, also known as RhoD, is a protein that belongs to the Ras homolog D family. It is a Rho-related GTP-binding protein and is also referred to as RhoHP1. The gene encoding RhoD is named RHOD and is found in humans. It plays a role in various cellular processes and signaling pathways. RhoD is closely related to other members of the Ras homolog gene family, such as Ras homolog D and Ras homolog gene family member D. It shares similarities with Rho-related protein HP1 as well. The function and interactions of RhoD are still being studied to better understand its role in cellular biology.
