Description

The catalytic subunit of DNA polymerase zeta, known as REV3, plays a crucial role in the synthesis of N diphosphate + {DNA}N by converting N deoxynucleoside triphosphate. This enzyme is primarily involved in translesion synthesis, a process that repairs damaged DNA by bypassing lesions and adding nucleotides across them.
