Activity

The bioactivity of the standard and the fully active form were compared, and it was found that the fully active form is equivalent to the standard in terms of biological activity. The biological activity was determined using a chemotaxis bioassay that involved human monocytes. The concentration range for the biologically active form was found to be 0.1-100.0 ng/ml.

Reconstitution

Prior to opening, we recommend briefly centrifuging this vial to settle the contents at the bottom. To reconstitute, add sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA until a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml is achieved. It is advisable to divide the stock solutions into working aliquots and store them at ≤ -20 °C. For further dilutions, use appropriate buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage

To maintain the stability of this lyophilized preparation, it is recommended to store it at 2-8°C. However, for long-term storage, it should be kept at -20°C, preferably in a desiccated environment. Upon reconstitution, the preparation can last for up to one week if stored at 2-8°C. To ensure maximum stability, it is advisable to divide the reconstituted preparation into working aliquots and store them at -20°C to -70°C. Avoid repeatedly freezing and thawing the preparation as it may cause degradation.
