Endotoxin_level

Activity

The standard and the test sample demonstrated comparable biological activity. The ED values exhibited no significant difference between the two samples, indicating that the test sample is fully biologically active.₅₀The specific activity required to inhibit BMP-4-induced alkaline phosphatase production in murine ATDC5 cells is greater than 5.0 × 10, with a corresponding concentration of less than 2 ng/ml. This information highlights the significant potency of the BMP-4 inhibitor in preventing the activity of this critical protein, which is involved in a variety of cellular processes. Reconstitution

To ensure optimal results, we recommend a brief centrifugation of the vial before opening. This will help settle the contents at the bottom for easy access. For reconstitution, please use a solution of 10 mM HAc with a concentration below 0.25 mg/mL. It is important to divide the stock solution into smaller working aliquots and store them at a temperature not exceeding -20 °C. When further dilutions are required, always make them in suitable buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage

For optimal storage conditions of this lyophilized preparation, it should be kept at a temperature range of 2-8 °C. However, for long term storage, it is advisable to store it at -20 °C, preferably in a desiccated form. Upon reconstitution, the stability of the preparation extends up to one week at temperatures of 2-8 °C. To ensure maximal stability, it is recommended to divide the reconstituted preparation into smaller working aliquots and store them within the temperature range of -20 °C to -70 °C. It is important to avoid subjecting the preparation to repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
