Activity

The standard and the sample are comparable in their biological activity. In fact, the biological activity of the sample was determined to be highly similar to that of the standard when assessed through a chemotaxis bioassay involving human peripheral blood neutrophils. This biological activity was observed to be concentrated between 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.

Reconstitution

Prior to opening, we advise briefly centrifuging this vial so that the contents settle at the bottom. To achieve a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL, reconstitute in sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer with 0.1% BSA. It is recommended to divide the resulting stock solutions into working aliquots and store them at temperatures of -20 °C or below. For further dilutions, appropriate buffered solutions should be employed.

Stability & Storage

To ensure its stability, this lyophilized preparation can be stored at temperatures between 2-8 °C. However, for long-term storage, it is recommended to keep it at -20 °C. It is preferable to store it in a desiccated condition. Upon reconstitution, the prepared solution remains stable for a week when stored at 2-8 °C. For optimal stability, it is advised to divide the reconstituted solution into smaller aliquots and store them between -20 °C and -70 °C. It is important to avoid subjecting the preparation to repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
