Overview

Description

Our Mammalian expression system has enabled us to produce Recombinant Human NKG2-A/NKG2-B Type II Integral Membrane Protein, which is an Arg100-Leu233-encoded protein with an 8His tag at the N-terminus. This protein is highly similar to the original, and is designed to deliver optimal performance in a range of applications. With our advanced production techniques, we are able to offer a reliable and efficient solution for researchers wishing to explore the therapeutic potential of this important protein. So whether you are studying immune function, or investigating new ways to fight disease, our Recombinant Human NKG2-A/NKG2-B Type II Integral Membrane Protein is the perfect choice for your research needs.

Other names

The antigen-like family member A, also known as CD159a or NKG2A, is a type II integral membrane protein. It belongs to the NKG2-A/NKG2-B activating NK receptor family and functions as a NK cell receptor. This protein, encoded by the KLRC1 gene, plays a crucial role in immune responses. With its similarities to NKG2-B, it operates as a critical component of the immune system. The NKG2-A/NKG2-B complex has significant implications in various cellular processes, particularly in the recognition and elimination of target cells. Understanding the functions of this protein and its family members can provide insights into immune system regulation and aid in the development of potential therapeutic strategies.

SDS-PAGE,95%。,。

Endotoxin_level

As determined by the LAL test, the value for less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg) is considered.

Reconstitution

It is highly advisable to always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid using vortex or pipetting to mix the contents. Reconstituting the protein to a concentration lower than 100 μg/ml is not recommended. To dissolve the lyophilized protein, use ddH2O. For better preservation, it is recommended to divide the reconstituted solution into smaller aliquots to reduce the number of freeze-thaw cycles.

Target

Background

NKG2-A/NKG2-B Type II Integral Membrane Protein contains 1 C-type lectin domain and belongs to the killer cell lectin-like receptor family. The killer cell lectin-like receptor family is a group of transmembrane proteins preferentially expressed in NK cells. Members of this proteins is characterized by the type II membrane orientation and the presence of a C-type lectin domain. NKG2 is expressed only in NK-cells, but not in T-cells or B-cells. It has been shown that NKG2 represents a family of related cDNA clones, designated NKG2A, NKG2B, NKG2C, and NKG2D, which encode type 2 integral membrane proteins (extracellular C-terminus) containing a C-type lectin domain. NKG2 plays a role as a receptor for the recognition of MHC class I HLA-E molecules by NK cells and some cytotoxic T-cells. NKG2A and NKG2B have been given the designation CD159a in the nomenclature of CD antigens.
