It is often added to the culture medium in proportion, in preparation for the production of bacteria that will be used for phage λ plates or liquids. Our company's Maltose solution (20%) is carefully filtered and sterilized before use. Its ideal concentration is typically 0.2%, which means it needs to be diluted 100 times. When paired with magnesium sulfate, which should be used at a concentration of 10mM, this solution is especially effective. |

It is often advisable to use magnesium sulfate, with a working concentration of 10mM. Culturing should generally be performed through shaking at a temperature of 37℃ for between 9-12 hours.
