| Description | The Cell Sections Quick Antigen Retrieval Solution is specifically designed for rapid repair of antigens in cell sections. It is a highly effective solution that is especially suitable for this purpose.After fixing cell sheet samples with paraformaldehyde, formaldehyde, or other aldehydes, the antigenic repair process was carried out quickly by incubating the samples at room temperature for only 5 minutes. This rapid repair technique allowed for efficient restoration of the antigenicity of the fixed cells, enabling subsequent immunostaining and imaging studies to be carried out with high quality and specificity. The short incubation time also minimized the potential for damage to the cells or tissue architecture, making it a valuable technique in many research settings. |
| Usage | To prepare the cell slide for immunostaining, we first fixed the cells and then washed the slide three times with PBS for 5 minutes each to remove any excess fixative. Then, an antigen repair solution was added to cover the slide and incubated at room temperature for 5 minutes. After this, the slide was washed again with PBS three times, for 5 minutes each time, to remove any remaining SDS that could possibly inactivate the antibodies. Finally, we sealed the slide using a sealing fluid. This ensures that the slide remains intact during further immunostaining steps, such as primary antibody incubation. With these steps complete, we were able to continue with the immunostaining protocol with confidence. |
