Other names	DB1, also known as MGC82370, is a putative transcription factor and a member of the vascular endothelial zinc finger 1 (VEZF1) family. VEZF1, also known as VEZF1_HUMAN, is a zinc finger protein encoded by the ZNF161 gene. The function of DB1 is currently unknown. However, it is believed to be involved in transcriptional regulation, potentially playing a role in the control of gene expression. Further research is necessary to fully understand the role and significance of DB1 in cellular processes.
