Other namesThe antigen known as C-type lectin domain family 13 member B, also referred to as CD205 or DEC-205, is a protein encoded by the LY75 gene in humans. It is commonly found on the surface of certain cells, including lymphocytes and renal cell carcinoma cells. This antigen is also sometimes called gp200 or gp200 MR6. CD205 plays a role in immune responses and is involved in the recognition and uptake of antigens by antigen-presenting cells. Its presence has been linked to the pathogenesis of renal cell carcinoma. LY75, or lymphocyte antigen 75, is the official gene name for this protein.
SourceRabbit
SpecificityTotal LY75 levels can be measured using the LY75 Antibody, which is designed to detect endogenous LY75.

purificationUsing SulfoLink™ Coupling Resin, the antiserum was purified through peptide affinity chromatography. It was a meticulous process that resulted in a highly purified and concentrated antiserum solution. The resin efficiently captured the targeted antigenic peptides and was eluted to release the desired antibodies. This purification technique is preferred because it produces high yields and purity.

Stability & StorageTo ensure proper storage, keep the product at a temperature of -20 °C for a duration of one year. It is important to avoid subjecting the product to repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Storage bufferThe rabbit IgG comes in a solution of phosphate buffered saline with a pH of 7.4, containing 150mM of NaCl and 0.02% sodium azide, as well as 50% glycerol to maintain stability. To keep the solution viable, it should be stored at -20 °C, where it will remain stable for up to 12 months from the date of receipt.
