The CETP antibody (abs115543) was used at a 1:1000 dilution to perform Western blot analysis on extracts of various cell lines. 25ug of lysates/proteins were loaded onto each lane and blocked with 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. The secondary antibody used was HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a 1:10000 dilution. ECL Basic Kit was used for detection and exposure time was set to 15s. This protocol ensured reliable and specific detection of CETP in the tested cell lines.
