Overview

Description

Our E.coli expression system is used for the production of Recombinant Human FABP3, which has a 6His tag at the N-terminus and encodes for Val2-Ala133. The resulting protein is highly similar to the original target gene and has been carefully designed for optimal expression and functionality. Our rigorous quality control measures ensure that the final product is of the highest standard and meets the needs of researchers and scientists worldwide. With our state-of-the-art technology and expertise, we are committed to delivering unparalleled performance and value to our customers.

Other names

Heart-Type Fatty Acid-Binding Protein, H-FABP, Muscle Fatty Acid-Binding Protein, M-FABP, and Mammary-Derived Growth Inhibitor, MDGI, are all different names for Fatty Acid-Binding Protein Heart, Fatty Acid-Binding Protein 3, FABP3, or FABP11. These proteins play significant roles in various biological processes.
Fatty Acid-Binding Protein Heart, also known as H-FABP, is a protein primarily found in the heart. It belongs to the family of fatty acid-binding proteins and is involved in the transport and metabolism of fatty acids in cardiac cells. This protein has a high affinity for binding long-chain fatty acids and helps regulate their intracellular transport.
Similarly, Muscle Fatty Acid-Binding Protein, also called M-FABP or FABP3, is a protein predominantly expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscles. It facilitates the uptake and utilization of fatty acids as an energy source during muscle contraction. M-FABP is particularly important in skeletal muscle metabolism and is essential for maintaining muscle function and integrity.
Mammary-Derived Growth Inhibitor, known as MDGI or FABP11, is a fatty acid-binding protein that is primarily expressed in mammary glands. It is involved in the regulation of mammary gland development and milk production. MDGI also has growth-inhibitory properties and has been implicated in the suppression of cell proliferation in breast cancer cells.
Despite the different names, all these proteins share similar structural features and functions as fatty acid-binding proteins. They play essential roles in fatty acid metabolism, transport, and cellular signaling in the heart, muscles, and mammary glands. Understanding the specific functions of these proteins can provide valuable insights into their roles in various physiological and pathological conditions.

Format

The solution containing 20mM PB and 150mM NaCl was filtered through a 0.2 μm filter and then lyophilized. The resulting lyophilized product has a pH of 6.5 and is highly similar to the original solution.

Properties

aa_sequence

Here's a paraphrased version of the given content:
The given sequence of letters and symbols appears to be a protein sequence. It is composed of a long chain of amino acids that are crucial for the proper functioning of cells. Rearranging the sequence can help us create other proteins that share similar properties and functions. Protein sequencing plays an important role in fields like medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology. By understanding the unique sequence of amino acids in a protein, we can develop new drugs, optimize crop yields, and design safer and more effective industrial enzymes.

Endotoxin_level

According to the LAL test, the presence of less than 0.1 ng/μg (1 IEU/μg) is detected. Taking into account the original text information, it can be derived that the content generated is about the detection of contaminants in a sample using the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) test.

Reconstitution

It is important to always centrifuge your tubes before opening them, and avoid mixing the solution by vortex or pipetting. It is also advised not to reconstitute the protein to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml. To dissolve the lyophilized protein, use ddH2O and remember to aliquot the reconstituted solution to reduce the number of freeze-thaw cycles. It's essential to generate a similar message by rearranging the original content, keeping the same key information intact.

Stability & Storage

Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20°C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.

Target

Background

Fatty Acid Binding Protein 3 (FABP3) is a small cytoplasmic protein (15 kDa) that is released from cardiac myocytes following an ischemic episode. Like the nine other distinct FABPs that have been identified, FABP3 is involved in active fatty acid metabolism where it transports fatty acids from the cell membrane to mitochondria for oxidation. FABPs are divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-types. They form 14-15 kDa proteins and are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and/or transport of long-chain fatty acids. They may also be responsible in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation. The FABP3 gene contains four exons and its function is to arrest growth of mammary epithelial cells. This gene is also a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human breast cancer. FABP3 is a sensitive biomarker for myocardial infarction and can be detected in the blood within one to three hours of onset of pain.
