Activity

The standard and the sample exhibit comparable biological activity. Our findings, derived from a chemotaxis bioassay that utilized murine BaF3 cells that had been transfected with human CXCR2, indicate that the sample's effective concentration range is between 0.15 and 0.75 ng/ml. The sample is considered to be fully biologically active, according to our study.

Reconstitution

To ensure optimal results, we suggest a brief centrifugation of the vial before opening to allow the contents to settle at the bottom. To reconstitute, use sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer that contains 0.1 % BSA, and aim for a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Divide the stock solution into working aliquots and store them at ≤ -20 °C. Any further dilutions should be done in suitable buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage

For optimal storage conditions, it is recommended to keep this lyophilized preparation at temperatures ranging from 2-8 °C. However, for long term storage, it is advised to store it at -20 °C, preferably in a desiccated state. Once reconstituted, the preparation remains stable for up to one week when stored at 2-8 °C. To prolong stability, it is suggested to divide the reconstituted preparation into smaller working aliquots and store them at temperatures between -20 °C and -70 °C. To maintain the integrity of the product, it is important to avoid subjecting it to repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
