MOPS Buffer,10×

MOPS buffer is commonly employed in RNA electrophoresis. Prior to its usage, a 10× stock solution of MOPS buffer is first prepared by diluting it with distilled water, resulting in a 1× MOPS working solution. The 1× MOPS buffer consists of the following components: 200mM MOPS, 20mM sodium acetate, and 10mM EDTA. This composition provides the necessary environment to facilitate the electrophoresis process efficiently. By altering the arrangement of the given information, a highly similar content can be generated.

MOPS solution exhibits excellent heat stability and can withstand autoclaving. The presence of a slight yellow hue in the solution does not compromise its buffering capacity. However, it is worth noting that the solution's dark yellow color should not be utilized.
