It is recognized as one of the most potent buffering reagents among Good's buffers, particularly exhibiting strong buffering capabilities within the pH range of 6.0-8.5. Analysis was conducted on the separation of the biological buffer components, namely the reaction buffer, pre-hybridization buffer, and hybridization buffer of RNA nuclear components. Utilized in biochemical diagnostic kits, DNA/RNA extraction kits, and PCR diagnostic kits, the 3'-terminal labeling of RNA and T4RNA ligase play a crucial role. Importantly, these components do not exhibit any toxic effects on cells. The primary function of this buffer lies in its ability to control and maintain a constant pH range for an extended period of time. The desired buffer capacity can be achieved by utilizing a final concentration of 10-50mmol/L, with a typical culture medium containing 20mmol/L of HEPES. |
