Freund's Complete Adjuvant

Friend's Adjuvan is a blend of non-metabolic oils, including mineral oil, surfactants like aracel, and inactivated bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. When these ingredients are mixed with an aqueous solution of antigen, an oil-in-water emulsion is created. This emulsion not only expands the distribution range of the antigen in the body, allowing for greater interaction with relevant cells, but also slows down its release, resulting in prolonged antigen stimulation and enhanced local immune response.

Fire extinguishing bacteria/cell wall components are included in complete adjuvants, along with non-metabolic oils and surfactants. The adjuvants are designed to enhance the ability of fire retardants to extinguish flames by adding an additional layer of protection to the fire. The bacteria and cell wall components work together to create a protective barrier around the fire, stopping it from spreading further and reducing the amount of oxygen available to the flames.
