Other names	Beta Rab27A-GAP, also known as TBC1 domain family member 10B, is a protein that plays an important role in regulating the activity of the Rab27A protein. This protein is also known as Rab27A-GAPbeta and is encoded by the EPI64B and FP2461 genes. TBC1 domain family member 10B belongs to the TBC (Tre2/Bub2/Cdc16) domain superfamily of proteins and is involved in the regulation of intracellular trafficking and vesicular transport in cells. Through its interaction with Rab27A, this protein promotes the hydrolysis of GTP and the inactivation of Rab27A. Overall, the beta Rab27A-GAP protein is a vital player in the regulation of intracellular transport and is an important target for therapeutic intervention in a range of diseases.
