Reconstitution

It is advisable to briefly centrifuge the vial before opening it, in order to settle the contents at the bottom. The reconstitution process involves adding sterile distilled water or an aqueous buffer with 0.1 % BSA to achieve a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. To maintain the integrity of the stock solution, it should be divided into smaller working aliquots and stored at temperatures equal to or below -20 °C. Any further dilutions should be prepared using suitable buffered solutions.

Stability & Storage

For optimal storage conditions, it is recommended to keep this lyophilized preparation at -20 °C. However, short-term storage at 2-8 °C is also acceptable. To enhance its stability, it is advisable to desiccate the preparation. Once reconstituted, it remains stable for approximately one week when stored at 2-8 °C. To maximize its shelf life, it is suggested to divide the reconstituted preparation into smaller working aliquots and store them at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to -70 °C. It is important to avoid subjecting the preparation to repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
