| Description | DAB (3,3'-diaminobenzidine) is a crucial substrate for peroxidase and plays a significant role in various analytical techniques such as spot detection, Western Blot, and immunohistochemistry. When catalyzed, it produces brown-yellow, water-insoluble products that can be easily observed visually. This unique property makes it suitable for staining procedures in these applications. Hence, DAB is widely utilized in research and diagnostics to enhance the detection and analysis of target molecules. |
| Usage | To ensure thorough incubation in the peroxidase detection system, it is recommended to perform four washes with TBS or PBS for 5 minutes each. This will effectively remove any excess materials and optimize the detection process. To prepare the film, start by adding 1 drop each of A, B, and C to 2ml of distilled water. Mix the solution thoroughly before adding it to the film. The color development process usually takes around 1-30 minutes at room temperature. If no background color appears, the color development can be extended. After the desired color is achieved, it is important to wash the film thoroughly with distilled water to stop the reaction. 4. Look and take pictures. |
